Buyers Guide

Estate Agents in East London & Essex

Having been established since 1989, Kurtis are able to provide a wealth of knowledge to customers whether it be a first purchase, extending a property portfolio or a buy-to-let investment.

As members of associated governing bodies, The Ombudsman, The National Approved Letting Scheme, and the Tenancy Deposit Scheme, it is vital that we perform in accordance with regulations and standards.

The process of buying a property can be daunting, however if you are advised in the correct way from the very start by an experienced company such as ourselves, you will find that it is not such a difficult step to take and we are here to guide you along the way.

The first thing to consider when buying is how much you can afford and be given an idea of how much you can borrow. At this stage Kurtis can provide you with mortgage advice from our recommended independent mortgage advisor. Also to assist with gaining an understanding of associated costs in purchasing a property we are able to obtain competitive conveyancing quotations providing a complete breakdown of costs including Stamp Duty.

Once we have taken a full description of your requirements and considered your affordability you can be assured that we will utilise our skills within the sales division, in order to match you to your ideal home. We will send you details of any properties we believe fit your requirements and arrange for you to view the property, assist you and advise you on site.

If at this stage you find a property you wish to make an offer on, we will provide you with as much information as possible to ensure you are making the right decision. We will also negotiate on your behalf and our involvement will be consistent from the very beginning until completion.

If your offer is accepted we will take the property off the market and assist you in finding a recommended solicitor should you require one. We will continue our involvement when applying for a mortgage and can arrange for an IFA to help you find the best mortgage deals. Your solicitor will then begin the process of paperwork. Throughout this process we will still be able to advise should you have any queries or concerns.

An additional full survey may be requested and again this is something we can assist with as we are associated with an excellent surveying company, whom have been highly recommended to us.

We will continue to advise you upon receipt of the survey and once all the necessary checks have been carried out by your solicitor, you will exchange contracts. We are also able to discuss any insurance requirements you have, put you in touch with removal companies, maintenance contractors or any other services associated with completion. All that is left is to complete and we will hand you the keys to your new home.
